Instructors and maintenance.
Talk to a couple different instructors to get a feel for who you would work well with. Remember, it's about you learning, not about them building time.

Don't forget to talk to students. When you visit the flight school, wait a few minutes and look for students walking out to their cars. Most of them will be willing to share their experiences about the flight school if you tell them that you are considering it for flight training.

Go to Clearwater Airpark...Best people around. I have been to all the flight schools and worked at three of the airports and lived next too another one. Its the best environment for learning, hanging out (more learning), and making new friends. You can't beat the annual Christmas party!
