Still for sale?
I own a 141 flight school in the northeast, great location, great airport. Established program with links to college aviation program, so constant students are available. Funding established for students. VA approved. Part 135 certificate included. Quite profitable, just under six figures a year. I need to sell due to a career change with a conflict of interest in owning this school. Very reasonable price. Contact me if interested. Will still be available in area for assistance in easy transition, just can not be owner/operator for much longer.
If this is still for sale, please contact me at

cheapest option for flight school with option
I live near Daytona Beach and am considering partner to purchase farm land flat and leve, high and dry with no obstructions suitable for at least 2,500 ft grass strip runway and suitable to begin flight school operation. Keep in mind U.S. now short 440,000 airline pilots so there is demand for flight school and from local Embry Riddle University easy to get CFIs. This option, after airlines meet required number of pilots opens up the additional option to turn the land and landing strip into an "airpark" which is growing trend in real estate. If interested conctact Earl at (386) 238-8826. Leave message call back time if not in.

Are you sure 440,000 pilots? I double check your business plan. You do relize how many schools are closing up shop? You you be more profitable farming on that land with the price of commodities vs a flight school with sky high insurance and fuel cost.

No, there is not. Please tell that to the thousand of airline pilots still on furlough from the airline.
easy to get CFIs.
Yes, it is. Pilots are a dime a dozen. Cheap, easy to find.

Now, that might be a good idea.

Hey I think the air park idea is a great one in Daytona if you can price below Spruce Creek. Keep in mind that you won't be the only game in that area. You have Pearson over by Lake Disston and of course the aforementioned Spruce Creek within 15 miles of the Daytona area and a myriad of grass strips. I taught out of Daytona for a while and if you can get pilots with outside income (i.e. retired) you could make some dollars. Good luck regardless!

Any one who knows of a flight school for sale? I want one that owns a hangar, no leasing.. I have searched the web and see some interesting schools, but maybe one of you guys work at one that you think it might be worth for me to take a look at. How hard is it to start your own flight school? Part 61 I have heard is really easy, but what about part 141? Can you just buy one?
Appriciate if someone knows of some nice schools, or prospective nice schools...
