Returning to flying - recommended reading-viewing list
Looking for recommendations on study material to get back up to speed -
After being out of civil aviation for 18 years and about 8 yrs out of the cockpit on military side (EA6B ECMO by trade) I am looking at getting back into the flying game and actually using my FAA ratings here when I retire in 5-7 months.
Are there any good general review programs from Sporty's, King or others that are recommended to help brush up on the knowledge base (will be going back and getting CFI ratings) besides sleeping with the fARs and AIM manuals?
thank you for your time...

Airspace has changed. You can't go wrong with FAA publications. Best part, they're all online in PDF format. The Airplane Flying Handbook, Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, and current FAR/AIM are good starts.
