Splitting hood time?
I'm at the point where I need X-C sim inst time!! I have been doing some solo X-C, but I need hood time, does anybody else in the NW ATL area need the same? If so, hit me up. we can split a long X-C and get some good PIC time. you do hood one way, I'll do hood the other way.

I know you have to sign up for this site, I'm a member myself, but right now there's 3 members out of atlanta. It's safetypilotclub.com So far I've had 2 people off it ride with me when I used to fly C-310's for a 135 company. It's still in it's infancy, but it could or could not take off. Right now it's $14.95 for a lifetime membership. Good luck on finding someone.

wow, thanks!! I am going to check it out!! it's amazing how hard it is to find a safety pilot. you would think that other pilots would jump at the opportunity to get PIC time at 50% the cost, but alas, 'tis not the case apparently.

I really don't want to pay as much as I am for my flight training if I don't have to.
Thanks... and happy holidays

There is no FAA limit. And some point, I think, it makes you look like you're just padding your logbook. Also, from personal experience, I think you reach a plateau where you benefit from this sort of time at between 25 and 50 hours. Again, there is no FAA limit.
