Default California or moving?

Hi everyone,

I have a question about my pilot training and would love to get your opinions. I work in a school, which allows me to fly two to three times a week during the school year. I'd also like to take advantage of my vacations, such as Christmas or Spring Break, to fly every day (depending on availability and weather).

Is it better to continue flying in California during my vacations or to go to another state where a school has an in-house DPE?

I've heard that the wait times for a DPE can be very long in California right now (LA), which might delay my progress.

I used to have financial issues, but now that I've worked hard to get two jobs and some raises, I'm facing a lack of time!

Thanks in advance for your help!
