I did my Comm in a CH2000 (Alarus). Unless the DE is an obsessive compulsive freak, you'll be fine. Most DE's understand that pilots arent perfect and are in touch with the reality of flying. The Comm oral is a thousand times easier than the instrument oral; I would say the hardest thing I was asked was an accelerated takeoff stop distance question in which I just used the performance charts to figure that out. You'll be fine!! Keep all of us posted on how your checkride goes!! Goodluck!

Don't psych yourself out! You got your instructor's endorsement, so you can obviously perform the maneuvers and you know the info in the oral. I was totally ready for my checkride, but I got all psyched out and busted lazy eights. I went back out the next time and performed perfectly. Just remember to pitch up pretty aggressively on those lazy eights while rolling slowly most of the time. Also, remember that you have one go-around to give on your power-off 180.
Who's your examiner? You're flying out of SLC, right?

I thought the Comm. ride was the easiest. The hardest question in my oral was probably what the landing distance over a 50 ft obstacle meant i.e. where is that landing distance measured from? Also, make sure you know your systems in and out, and be able to draw diagrams of the fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and air circulation systems.

My DPE gave me scenarios where someone wanted me to take them flying. I had to determine if I could legally do so. Make sure you're familiar with FAR Part 119, and ask questions that give you more information. Don't make a snap judgement.
