Default Navy Annapolis Flight Center

Navy Annapolis Flight Center Full Time Flight Instructor Lee Airport, Annapolis, Maryland 09/16/2005

Thats the place I was talking about...I'll get you the number for Langley AFB Aero Club and you can fax your resume to them...I have found the Aero Clubs are always looking for instructors...

Give the Navy flight center a call - they will have plenty of students and you could build your time very quickly...

Default Same boat

I'm in the same boat you are ToiletDuck. There are CFI jobs out there, but you might have to move to get one. I subscribe to Climbto350.com and can tell you there are a nubmer of CFI jobs out there. There are a number of them in central TX as well.

You can look at older openings without subscribing. They had a subscription "sale" a few months back. $30 for the year, I think the normal rate is 19 per month or something like that.

Call the Navy guys and sell your self big time...Your students will be Academy cadets on their way to Navy flight training - they will be motivated, professional, and eager to learn. You won't have to worry about no-shows, them being late , or anything like that...

Duck,

Welcome to professional aviation. You will never stop paying. It is smart to subscribe to AIP APPS and to many of the other employment services. Good and timely information is priceless in this industry.

Yea but I'm so jobless I'm trying to get one as a CFI not upgrade to a new one. I'd rather not spend money on a website that might or might not have any more postings than other places.

The only thing paying does is let you see the most recent job openings. You can look at job postings that are older, like a week or more for free. Just because the opening is more than a week old doesn't mean it has been filled.

I have inquired about a couple jobs I've seen and they have been filled very fast. At this level, the industry seems to move incredibly fast. Openings happen quickly, and there are lots of CFIs out there looking for work.
