Stall/SPin Indorsement
Ok are there any hard draconian FAA rules regarding the requirements that must be met to recieve a stall spin endorsement? I have run through the AIM and haven't found a one - othere than "must show proficiency in stall entry, spin entry, spins, and spin recovery..." [my emphasis]
Just curious... its about that time...

What ever it takes to get someone to sign you off. I have heard that people have recieved the endorsement without spinning an airplane. When I got mine, I spun a plane while teaching it to my instructor, then he made me teach him about stall and spins on the ground. Don't think says more than what you have in your post.

Ditto what Shaun said. I tought spins on the ground and went up and spun a chickenhawk a few times, granted I had some pitts time and they were kind of wimpy spins....but I showed the guy who signed me off that I know what was going on. I had fun doing mine.
