2. Full flights. Buying tickets at the last minute can sometimes mean few choices (like the $929 first class seat they had to buy me a while back). Also means lots of middle seats - a real joy after six days on the road.
3. Cancelled flights. That almost always pushes us to the next day, costing the company big bucks - and us a day off.
4. Fewer choices. Especially on the last day, we want to get home. Stinks when you get to a city and the next flight out is five hours away. Or involves a double connect on Southwest to get from OAK to FLL.

1. Late flights. They plan on us arriving at least two hours early - but my flight into EWR last week was almost four hours late. Owners will not be happy to hear their flight is delayed because Continental was having issues.

The company is very very very anti bases, yet nobody really knows why. they say they have all these conditions that need to be met but they wont come out and say what they are. Some pilots have done their own studies and proven that if they were based at XYZ, the company would have save X hundreds of dollars in airline costs per month. It doesn't make any sense. Every other frac has tons of bases and we have 4 or 5, and the ones we do have are some of the highest cost airports in the country.
