Thanks, but the question remains. Example a 65 year old 121 retiree hires on as Phenom SIC 01Jun2024, is 8/7 or 7/7 available to her at a lower daily pay rate than 8/6 daily rate? Only 6 days off after 8 days on the road would be tough to keep up and maintain a healthy home life.

They don't do 7/7 anymore. You can either tell them you'd like 8/6 and not worry about bidding, or do Flexbid (like PBS) and bid for different tour lengths and days off.

Thank you, maybe PBS could work for 7/7 or 8/7

Not likely! The current PBS basically means the company will assign you based on their needs, not what you bid for. They can do anything, such as 7/4 and 8/5 upward. In addition, AT BEST case you will only know your schedule 6 weeks out, worst case (as in right now) you only have about 2 weeks visibility. Best to do the 8/6 and suck it up until you upgrade into DRL or ILC where you have more schedule flexibility, especially since they dont seem to have any desire to fix the PBS.

I'm on a RL team on the Challenger, but I heard from a couple of FOs that PBS has improved recently. I know the Phenom side always has and always will get the beat down as far as flying and schedules go. Best thing for Phenom new hires to do is upgrade away from that airplane as quickly as possible. Get on DRL and life is way better.

Sort of.

I have my Flexbid set to 7 on / 7 off and 14 days per bis period. I get mostly 6-8 on and 6-8 off, just not able to know schedule months out like a fixed 8/6.

Im not buying the fact you get a 6/6, 6/7 or 6/8 rotations regularly, maybe you are but NO ONe I have spoken to is getting anyting other than "Not what I bid for". AT BEST my guess is you are getting 8/6 with MAYBE a few 7/7 sprinkled in (using those parameters).

Hi Everyone,
I'm a 62 yr old cargo 121 guy , interested in FlexJet. I currently fly 16 days on with 12 off. 16/12 is perfect for our home life.

Is a 16 on / 12 off schedule possible with FlexJet?

Are the overnights all short ie 10 hrs or longer?

Thanks!
