At this point, these forums would be better served if you withheld comments of a personal nature regarding other people. You've been counseled in the past over your tone and messaging, please refrain from making comments such as these going forward. No place for comments such as these, disagreements can and should remain civil in nature.

These kinds of threads are silly. I know my retirement sucks. I know I don't get paid enough. The grass is, in fact, greener. I hope people leave my company to go to yours so that my company has to pay more to keep pilots around.

I can't understand why people are always trying to one-up each other with regards to pay and crew food. Unless everyone is working in management and trying to recruit new applicants 🤔

I completely agree, as I have said many times, NJ and Flex are the "Majors" of the 135/91k world (nobody else comes close). If you end up at either, you will be OK. When people come in here and act like Flex is not in the same playing field as NJ, I get insulted.

YES there are no raises from year 3-10 but if that is what you want to hang your "NJ is better" rant on, then I question your mental acuity and your ability to actually hold a First Class Medical Certificate. You do understand, as I said, it take 10yrs as an FO at NJ to reach the pay of a Flex First officer. So you somehow think its better to start at $105k and slowly get raises every year until year 10 where you end up at $167k vs. STARTING year 1 at $156k year 2 163k, year 3 $163k and it stays there for the next 10 years (this does not include the $18k per year bonus)?

Lets see how quick you will answer this question, as a 10 full year FO at NJ what will be your TOTAL hard pay? Here is what Flex would be........$1,623,000.......

Ill sit here and wait for your response to a very simple question. Please count on your toes if you need to.
man you get worked up. I don’t want you to get kicked off the forum as I see you are getting warnings for getting all personal in your attacks. Sorry I left out year 2 in my chart. I also left out years 4,6-9,11-13. Was just doing a small sample of scales.

For an FO that is hired today with our current scales after 10 years total salary only would be $1,562,931. Not that far below flex. We do actually have many 10+ year FOs that bypass upgrade for quality of life.

I have stated my opinion that for total career earnings NJ is a better option and that for possibly quick initial pay and moving to a major flex is the better option. After rereading some of your posts I saw that I missed where you agreed that you would make less total at flex but it was a better fit for you due to personality’s of NJ pilots. I think that is where a lot of the headbutting is going on. You say flex and NJ are the majors of the fractionals. Like I pointed out, all the majors have unions. Soon they may all have the same union. It is hard for me as a NJ pilot to show the same respect to a flex pilot when they voted out a union. A union that helped both pilot groups. The same way the unions help all majors. When flex voted out the union you saw how the company doesn’t treat the whole pilot group the same. They can cherry pick how they increase pay to get the results they need. Your former coworkers have pointed out how the raises were pointed to newer people and left out the people who have been there the longest. I wonder if you would still be so happy with your choice if you had been there longer.

I will leave it at that unless you have anything else you want to discuss.
