For a family of 4, it’s $99.31per pay period. Dental $16.02 per pay period. I have been with Flex Jet for about 6 months but from my personal perspective, the Insurance is excellent!!

I hope that helps.

Just read in Aerocrewnews that Flexjet intends to double its fleet over the next 5 years. Really? Is that through an acquisition of another operator or do you have that many outstanding orders? For what types? More Phenoms and CL350s?

They want to increase the fleet by 40% this year alone. Internal communications indicate every fleet by moving orders up, buying off the used markers, etc.

They are really wanting to expand our ILC (G459/G650/GLEX) fleets.

I don't know if FJ is gonna have the pilots to staff these aircraft. Attrition is through the roof.

Curious as to why? Where are they going? Airlines?
I am guessing that the pay increase is not enough to keep pilots? Any indication of other improvements coming soon to stave off the attrition?

I had more than one Captain tell me that the FAA said they never intended for 14/10 to be a daily thing. It was meant to be used occasionally/sparingly.

when you do 14 hours on /10 off (that’s not 10 behind the door, mind you), it wears.

Then you have 7-14 day tours.

then you have to load/unload 800 pounds of bags in the rain/cold.

then you look at the airlines where a 2nd year FO makes almost as much as someone on a Gulfstream but they also have 16% 401k direct contribution …

Then you also have no union protection for anything.

things start to look different.

Everything JT said. And they are'nt just leaving for other airlines, they're also leaving for NetJets. The company said they want the pilots to be the best paid and yet ignore the soft pay structure NJ guys have. The way the pay raise was done did them more harm than good.

Interesting. Are you speaking about relatively junior pilots leaving for Netjets or captains leaving for Netjets? I get it about the soft pay structure at Netjets. I just would have a hard time thinking that a Flexjet captain would bounce for Netjets. Netjets has the same issue with 14/10 as well, plus the other things. Netjets retirement is better too, but is that enough to make senior guys leave? Or is the churn at the bottom?
