Default FDX Pilots Sue Alpa

The case, called Valdez v. ALPA, was filed in the Federal District Court in Memphis.

You can read it here:

So can the union charge these guys more because they have to defend themselves against its own members? I think there's a go fund me account for this.

The title of this thread is misleading. Only four fedex pilots are suing.

From what I understand, it's a class action lawsuit. Doesn't that mean that it's being done on everyone's behalf unless one chooses to be excluded from the class?

If more than one pilot sues they become plural. So it is correct. :

As much as some of the no-voters are sore about losing to the 57% majority, it was a democratic process. The TA passed, it's time to move on. These 4 guys are taking time, energy, resources, and focus away from OUR union. Not only that, they aren't looking at improving the CBA, just looking for a big cash payout for themselves alone. What a joke.

This is the "Me and a couple of other guys are suing me and all the rest of the guys because we suck at selecting a union leadership that will give me and the rest of the guys everything me and a couple of other guys want from a company that does everything it can to give me and the rest of the guys nothing" lawsuit. The lawyer says we have an EXCELLENT case...

With that said, I'm going back to the bar. Refills are in order.

I'm going to spend the rest of my career telling fellow ALPA pilots, "It wasn't me..."
