Doesn't PFC have a link to ask the iPad "professionals" questions like that?

When you have this situation, there's an accelerometer issue...so what you need to do is drop it onto a hardwood floor or thin padded hotel room concrete floor from approximately 3 feet.

If it didn't work, then you were a bit too conservative and dropped it from too low.

If that doesn't work, add another foot for every 10 degrees of latitude North\South of the equator

Good grief! You sound like an idiot. Your expert advice is wasted if you can't spell things correctly. It's EXCELerometer, not accelerometer. One's on a car...The other on computers..

Why not? I have it on both my personal and company IPads.

Using it as a cutting board is also a viable technique to "accidentally" cause harm worthy of replacement.
