I have a better idea - prohibit all LCA's on the 777 😀

Haven't kept up with the slide situation on the 777. Are LCAs responsible for the blown slides?

The inertia reel works very well in the 767! Some have two sets one for the window and one for the L1 door.

I have no idea how the inertial reel works. How fast can a full cockpit of crew and JS evacuate vs a slide evacuation?

Inertial reel is for lowering your luggage and laptop carrier gently to the ground while the news crews film your evac.
