Default Loss of Hotel After Duty in Critical Period

If this TA passes, we lose having a hotel room after duty in the critical period. The company will now be able to deadhead you without rest after flying in the critical period.

Reference deletions of Section 25, Scheduling, Appendix X, Hard Parameters, Domestic, deletion of #5.

WHY would you vote for that?

Yep lose a day of pay, reduce the number of Jumpseats available and loss of deviation bank. Wonder when the yes folks are going to tell you how great a deal this is?

It is so bizarre that we are even debating whether this should pass or not, and that it will be as close as it appears it will... insane. Guys/gals willing to trade their long term health and well being for a few more dollars.

Go to section 12 C.3.d. I'm guessing the verbiage was deleted in section 25 because it already exists in section 12.

I think it's in Section 12, behind the grassy knoll.

Q: Hard Parameters Domestic #6? This deletion is a concession. So they can schedule a 4 hour wait for a flight, extend the duty day and get you back to base with no time limit after you have been flying at night all week? Please explain how this is good for the pilots QOL.
A: Hard parameter 6 has been deleted since it was not needed because it is already in Section 12.C.3.d (pg. 218)

Seems like there's enough not to like about this TA without making problems where they don't exist.

Just one more thread started by a "proponent of hysteria" with completely inaccurate (or misunderstood) information. And when they are shown to be wrong...no admission of stupidity on their part. They just move on to start another thread based on their misconceptions.

You just don't quit do you TBD?
I admire that on one hand, on the other, sir or ma'am, you need to return to the toolbox.

Its APC, you expect something more? A forum where pilots get to post their worsts fears and hid behind an anonymous identity. I wish I was the guy who came up with this idea. Someone was smart and got an idea of where guys could dump on each other. It must be fun to make money off of this site. Good for those who are.
