Pretty sure pinseeker was just kidding, in a commensurate response to the comment about yes voters.
Interesting about the US based international yes voters, though. Of course, they should realize that if it gets ugly enough for the hub turners in the trench, we might just move over and knock them down seniority wise.

Final Vote Percentages - How/Why Signficant?
I fly exclusively international. All the crew members I have flown with this month, 100% have been voting no. One was a very senior captain looking to retire this coming year. I also have a friend who is planning on retiring at the end of the year. He is a no as well. Believe it or not, they actually are talking about protecting those of us that will still be working after they have retired.

Are these the guys I should trust when it comes to quality of life issues or making a stand.

Good question DLax. I think it does matter as to the percentages. I believe it will barely fail or barely pass; so pretty divided vote-wise. I've run across more Yes voters than No voters but still very split.
If it barely fails, can we regain the momentum for the long process it will take to reorganize and reengage and get an approved agreement? I was surprised how fast things went back to ops-normal right after a TA was announced. That same week, my CLOE instructor was on draft. "I figured it was OK since we have a TA." Is OT an issue anymore? What kind of gains do we really think can be achieved?
If it barely passes, can we repair some of the divisiveness and MEC issues so that we can move on and work together for future improvements? Are the pay increases, dev bank fixes, and disruption payments good enough and how is QOL affected?

The group I've found leaning towards yes (besides those working at the union level) seem to be many of the international (not FDA, but U.S. Based international) pilots. I've thought about why and I think they are least likely to be exposed to week on and week off of daily bus rides and AOC conversations.
Not only do I not ride the bus much...I even try and avoid MEM all together!

Of the large numbers of pilots I talked with, admittedly my sample size of international pilots was smaller. I must have hit an unrepresentative sample.

Really?
So, I guess you will just eat the POS the company served up today and not push it back across the table and ask for something better? Your crystal ball must be working overtime, because you already know for sure the TA won't be improved at all? That's impressive. Can you read my palm too?

Knight, why on earth would you think the company would "fix" ANYTHING after you vote this POS in? You vote no and then fix it on the redo. Do you not work for Fedex? How many times personally has the company "helped you out" or "fixed" something in the contract to benefit a pilot or you. You are kidding yourself if the company is going to willingly incur any further costs once this TA is voted in.
