Focusing on ants versus elephants. No one can honestly say this TA reflects our value to the corporation. No one.
The yes voters are completely focused on the short term.
The no voters see the long term implications of mediocrity and won't settle.

It's simple.
Percentages only reflect the level of a fractured crew force. Up or down, the union leaders have to unify. It'll be a big task. Not sure they have the leadership to accomplish it regardless of the vote. Underwhelmed and disappointed.

Now you can pretend half the pilots are greeedy SOBs and you other 2000 guys are simply looking out for the welfare of the industry or you can acknowledge that this is a professional decision based on rational thought not fear. Vote how you like, but Freud was a hack and you are no better at reading personalities and motivations then he was. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar and sometimes we are all greedy SOBs. You want me to sacrifice my finacial well being to make yours better 10 years from now. No Thank You.

I don't think you and others realize how ineffective that is. The people that you are trying to convince, the yes and undecided voters become turned off by the attacks, and will discount the direct content that you are arguing for. When you insult people, and then make your point.....you have already lost your audience.
A little humor, logic and respect goes a long way.
