Default FDX Alaska Airlines miles

I've heard from a couple guys that Alaska Airlines is allowing us to receive mileage on dh's on Alaska Air flights. Can anyone substantiate this? A few yrs back I was told we couldn't get mileage on Alaska Air flights unless we gave them our Delta #. I much prefer accruing mileage on Alaska Airlines mileage acct and have an upcoming dh to OAK. Thanks.

I DH'ed out on Alaska recently and signed up for a milage account just before my flight and they gave me the miles. So I would say yes.

Yes, you get milegage on them and their partner airlines as outlined on their website. And if you email the FF program they will "nominate" you to their equivalent of what ever level you are currently at with a competing airline... ie Delta Platinum to Alaska 75k.

Who is giving mileage credit for deadheads at the moment? Mostly curious about Delta and AS.

Here's an unpleasant tidbit about Alaska. If you've tried to book a flight in coordination with a trip either on the FedEx website, or crew travel, you will notice that the prices are crazy, outrageous. It's like there is zero discount, and you're only seeing full fare. Apparently FedEx has not yet re-signed the contract with Alaska. I hope they hurry up and get it done, because Alaska offers an amazing amount of coast to coast directs, they are generally on time, and the price with the FedEx discount is phenomenal. It's gonna cost FedEx and us a lot of money if they don't renew the contract pretty soon.
