Surely you jest, "faux news", half truths, misinformation, and 30+% falsehoods!
I'm hoping the NC, MEC, ALPA lawyers, AND committees (especially grievance) conduct a thorough review and analysis by SME's across all the subject domains, to include "language" subject to interpretation, prior to them "reporting" or touring a TA road show.

After the turds we've voted for in the past (FDA 1.1 & 1.2, etc), the need for checking, double checking, and re-checking is paramount.
Approach the TA inspection like you would approach instructing a student. You keep your eyes on the student's actions, cause he could kill you if you get complacent in his flying. The lawyers at FDX have consistently eaten use alive with contract language. If a section can be "interpreted" more than 1 way, assume FDX will interpret it the worst way possible.

Wow! My comment was not on the validity of Fox News (I couldn't care less what your views are on that subject), my analogy was to make sure the MEC doesn't try a hard sell like DALPA tried to do (my wife is a DAL pilot and voted against the TA).
The MEC and the road shows to follow should give each of the facts, and only the facts, so that each member pilot can make the best decision for himself/herself and their family.
This may be the most critical contract yet, as it sets the tone for labor relations at FDX for the foreseeable future. Generally, I'm not a one issue voter, and I'm mature enough to understand that there may be things I don't like, so I will try to be extra attentive to my due diligence regarding the details of the language.
Since I'm closer to retirement than many, R & I, medical and scheduling are the sections I'm most interested in.
I can only hope that everyone else feels about the same.

I'm with ya Rock. Unless they want to come down to Dothan, most likely won't attend one anyway. Honestly most only want to see the cash portion anyway.

Champ first let me say I agree with you about the spin. Next, the Mrs. sounds reasonable, have her explain why the oh brother was not meant for your post but Olly's who will be with us as soon as he finishes his morning NPR.

I'm not a fan of road shows either, after 20 years I've never attended one.
But, since the Devils in the details, I think the union has the responsibility of explaining the facts of the TA to all of the membership.
Whether that's in the form of a roadshow is up to FDX ALPA and the MEC.
IMHO,

TA to the FDX MEC?
According to the latest ALPA video briefing by FO Jim Watkins the MEC was presented a TA by the NC sometime yesterday 8/19/15? In his video briefing he requests patience as the MEC assembles to read and evaluate the TA to see if it is worthy of a vote by the MEC to forward it to the general membership for a ratification.
