Be careful what you ask for! During the FAR 117 Crew Rest discussions, one of the justifications for the Cargo Cutout was that "those guys don't get as tired because they don't have to deal with Flight Attendants!"

No kidding!*?

Hey I've been leafing through this thread and I came up with a few questions.

1. On the work history of the online app it keeps saying, "there are gaps in your employment history." Basically, some years back when I was an FNG I flew part time for a corporate gig and part time flight instructing. The jobs overlap but I still get that message, anyone else have that problem?

2. Are the latest batch of nh's without TPIC or a 75/767 type? (As I have niether)

3. How many days off can a new hire expect get per month? I'd likely be commuting from Florida. How are the HKG schedules and seniority list movement? I have family in the Philippines and wouldn't mind living in Asia for a few years also.

Thanks in advance!

The backgrounds were FedEx Corporate, FedEx Pro instructors, US Navy, USAF/ANG, United, Southwest, American, Delta, CommAir, Endeavor, and North American Airlines. Alas, no Marines in this class."

Surprising.

New hires work 15 days a month max 8 (4 week) months a year and 19 days a month max 4 (5 week) months a year. In training commuting can be tough the 1st 90 days or so. I'll bet the nhs have TPIC. HKG schedules are probably better than low seniority Memphis schedules. If you are willing to go there I would make sure everyone knew it.

We got it by taking the actual Delta test at out regional when we went to interview & got hired last year, also downloading all the delta gouge off the Sheppards website and Emerald coast also sends out an awesome pack of Delta tech stuff to review for interviews
