A graduate of any of the service academies can substitute that for a four year degree.

I always had trouble distinguishing an Auburn "A" from an Alabama "A" , until someone pointed out the Alabama A is the one with the mullet on top.

I always thought they started both schools with an A was because that was as far as most students could get with the alphabet!!

As a Tennessee public school grad I got as far as F.....my teachers always emphasized that one letter with me, I'm still not sure why.

Auburn is a College I thought it was a high school.
In the past until about the early 90s the college degree was preferred not required at FedEx but like some have said you had to know someone.

I am going to give it a shot! I have around 6,000 hours 767 and an Associate degree.

I hope you're kidding. Nobody is special enough to get hired without the required college degree, no matter whom you know. Just get the dang degree already, it is required at all the majors.

Though I can't imagine it will hurt you to apply. But reapply when you get the degree. Just get it done, it's not that difficult.

Is anyone getting a call for an interview? Or, does anyone know someone who is getting a call for interview? Has anyone's primary endorsment been called for an interview? If so, please pass their stats. I'm curious about hours, background, 767 type rated, parent or sibling a FedEx Captain, number of recommendations, willingness to accept a FDA, etc.

I'm currently in the process of retiring from the military, college degree, 5300 fixed flight hours, 2700 multi-engine turbine PIC, 4 internal letter of recs, current flying wise as of May 1st, not willing to relocate to a FDA, and no 76/75 type rating. I already successfully interviewed with Delta and I am waiting a class date. I'm just wondering how I stack up against those who are being called for a FedEx interview.

You're thinking of "Tiger High" -- the teacher school in Memphis.

I have a good friend hired in '96 without a 4-year degree. I don't know of any since. He was in internal hire from the hub.

You're definitely in the ball park on quals. I can't imagine they're focusing totally on the 757/767 type (although it's a plus for now).

I did the legacy pax thing for a while and ended up at FedEx through some good fortune. In 2015 with a job offer from Delta, FedEx might be a tough call short of another 9-11 disaster or economic melt-down.
