Bid buffoonery...
Congrats...what is sad is these new hires will train and move to HK and be able to bid out before our current HK pilots, that have held a 76 bid award for the past 6 months but we're involuntarily extended...
That's really made a lot of people happy.

Publishing just means that FedEx can now see it and you will be considered. You will not be locked out. In fact, you are encouraged to update your application as your information changes i.e. Flight times, addresses, etc. Recomendations can be added at any time. I would not wait on recommendations to publish your application. FedEx could close the window with no notice and you will not be considered.

With only a handful of A300s in HKG I suspect anyone bidding out will be at the relative front of the training letter.

Hello FedEx pilots....
I am currently in the process of finishing my application to FedEx through Pilot Credentials, however, I am waiting to "publish" it until all of my Recommendations have had time to submit.
Question: Does anyone know if the application can be changed or can Recommendations be added after you "publish" it?
Thanks!

What kind of people are getting the call to interview these days? ex-Mil, 757/767 time, master degrees, super high GPA? Would it be wise to assume this trend will continue for hiring into next year?
Would an RJ check airmen, 3.5kTT, 1000TPIC, 4 yr degree (GPA in 2's), prior enlisted military, outside aviation volunteer, couple of internal LORs, do well in the pool of potential FDX hopefuls?
