Recent union email says there's a class of 30 starting next Monday, most class pictures show classes of 15-20 lately - are guys not showing up or are they just running smaller classes? My class was 24, but most I have seen have been smaller lately, just wondering if that is by design?

Notification?
Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but how is one notified of selection to interview? I thought I'd read that something is mailed, but I've also heard horror stories from other airlines of missing an email invitation because it went to junk mail. If it is via email, does anyone know the address? Thanks!

Short answer: Domestic flying.
The time of day (PM vs AM) depends on whether or not you're on reserve and how good you get at Drops and Adds to your schedule. I've been on the MD for about 1.5 years now so my experience will be different than those recently hired since the training letter only goes to 18 Dec. I only ever sat 1 month of reserve. All of my other months I did VTO and it worked great. Especially in the summer when senior folks had vacation. One month I didn't like ANY part of my schedule. I dropped my entire schedule and rebuilt it from scratch on a 4 hour hub turn when the open time window was available. All of the international flying on the MD if flown by senior guys. With the MD there is currently a lot of flexibility if you understand the CBA and scheduling.
