Hey guys,
Need a new will for the family, can anyone recommend a good lawyer to do a will in MEM area that is also covered on Hyatt Legal plan.
Thanks!

I'm going through some challenges that highlight the importance of an update Will, POA, Trusts, etc. To protect your assets and family, a review of your legal documents should be part of your annual financial review. I don't know of anyone in MEM, but for the bubbas in the SEA area, Aita Law in Gig Harbor is highly creative and effective!

Out of curiosity, how many pilots have up-to-date:

Medical POA
Limited POA
Will
Trust(s)

Kevin Snider in Germantown. Straightforward. To the point.

Don't have them but working on getting them squared away.

Thanks to all for the reply's and PM's. I had heard some horror stories lately from some friends dealing with unfortunate circumstances and the last thing you need in the midst of a tragedy is to have your spouse also dealing with legal issues or no access to accounts and so on. When I looked at my old stuff, saw how bad it could be for my family. A lot has changed in last 5 years with living wills, estate taxes, etc. So took it as a kick in the butt to get my things in order.
By the way, that Hyatt plan will cover the whole thing, so worth its annual deductions right there IMO.
Flying is the easy part, it is all this other crap that is a pain!

I've been working with Phillip Waddell out of Germantown for well over a year. Excellent job on all accounts. I had to go on a mil leave last year & almost forgot important doc's and he quick turned them in 24 hrs. 901 759 0409.

I agree w above post as well- update your docs. Your family will thank you.

We have had the Hyatt Plan ever since it became available at FedEx. Even continued it in retirement. We did our initial wills, POA's, revocable trusts and several other documents through Hyatt. We also do our annual review, have had two home refinances, a small legal matter with a neighbor, and my mother-in-law's estate (wife was executor) settled all through Hyatt. A great benefit.
