I bet his sentiment is far more common than one would admit, because the tendency to feed others to alligators hoping the alligator eats them last is a pretty universal one.

Oh and guess what, there will be geriatric pilots ahead of you for 30+ years until you are finally one.

Wishing furlough on your fellow pilots or any pilots is pretty low. Disagree all you want but actually wishing furlough on people?? Take a step back and think about what you are actually advocating for.

Have you ever been furloughed?

I don't wish furlough on anyone. The company can't furlough. There are too many junior FO's on the 777. They cannot furlough out of sequence. They were drafting for 777 FO's last week. The training cycles needed to furlough would be cost prohibitive due to the fact that there are so many junior 777 FO's. All this furlough talk is nonsense.

Having said that, take the new survey. We have got to have a contract the benefits both the young and the old. This infighting between the young and old has got to stop. Scope needs to be fixed. Retirement needs to be fixed, not just for the old guys, but for the young guys, too.

I repeat. Take the survey.

Sorry Mr Stereo Type guy, Got it wrong again. I start the APU if it is hot or cold in the cockpit. Our office needs to be a comfortable temp. Never in a hurry, we go when we are ready. Only look at the clock when I need to check in after that we go at a safe pace.

Reading comprehension on here is not very strong. I posted that you want to disparrage or kick down a certain demographic I will post something that gives you emtions to see that your words have meaning too. Never for a furlough but it is easy to get you stirred up when if affects you. When it does not affect you, you could careless about the people you are pushing around. Seems like you do not like to be bullied even though you have no problem being a bully. I learned a long time ago to stand up to bullies.

No I have not been furloughed but I did go three years without real job after getting off active duty and no one, not even regionals were hiring. Whats worse? No seniority number on the street or seniority number and furloughed? They both suck.

Take the survey and hopefully things will get better for everyone.

What a tool. That's why no one in your west coast base likes or respects you.

Your post history shows you are not a FedEx pilot. Please troll somewhere else.

B-777 update from Aug. 6 tells me that Captain's put on too much gas and the usual suspects continue to do it. Ironically, they probably don't start the APU until the final W&B ACARS arrives even in the middle of summer because the "yes sir" indoctrination still controls their decision making. The ALPA chapter at any regional is better than this dumpster fire thanks to certain retards who don't know anything other than FX after their first "career". This company culture will take decades to fix. This place has serious ****ing issues.
