Having Jumpseateated on FE I can say you guys are the best and what follows in no way reflects on the pilots, but your company, and especially the "final mile" delivery sucks. It used to be industry leading. Now 50% of the time packages show up either late, to the wrong address or not at all. It's gotten so bad the marine repair shop I use will not do business with vendors if the ship via FedEx.
It'll take more than a logo change to sort this out.

I have heard this from other sources as well. I just wish that top management would actually listen to this kind of important information. As pilots, we have absolutely, positively no control over anything except our particular flights. I was hired a long time ago, and used to be proud to work for FedEx. Now, I never bring it up unless asked, because I don't want to hear stories about how bad our service has become. It makes me very frustrated to see the decline of our once great company.

I used to jumpseat on other carriers, and with the schedule changes coming in October, I may have to do so again. Off line jumpseaters are always welcome on my flights. If there is an open seat you are welcome to it.

If it was up to "Raj" he would sell off everything and outsource it all. https://www.truckingdive.com/news/fe...hakeup/719951/

It is ALL about eliminating costs

The new leadeship wants fedex to do to the freight business what Uber did to the taxi business.

...With his choice of plenty of sleep kits, don't you worry. And unspoiled catering.

Him and his boys be using dem jets. Cost cuts for everybody but them. I do feel sorry for them though because it is self serve on those Challengers and probably catering from Corky's. Oh the humanity! Don't start the APU though guys. We have to help the company efficiencize themselves until the next stock buy back. You can't make this sh1t up.
