We are SURE the Tony Tough guys will solve this. 🙄 We are ATI, Kalitta, Zantop, etc.
Is the A plan pension at FedEx considered in a distress funding situation? If it is not any termination is highly unlikely even in a Chapter 11 filing.

How far have we gotten since we asked to be released?

After 25 years on property, if you're flying AM hub turns that is 100% by your own choice.

Far enough to shine a massive spot light on the 1990's era work rules, industry lagging pay, industry lagging reserve rules, industry lagging system bidding, industry lagging recovery pay...plus more.

"But the others have PBS!"

So you guys have been parked for how long and until at least Aug 21? No negotiations of any sort? Holy cow.

Industry lagging everything. Except vacation, and no PBS… so let’s overlook all the other lagging items.

Yes, our last session was February 29. The company said they needed more time to cost the latest proposals. They were told by the mediator to have thier response at the next meeting in mid March. The next day, a new block rep took office. Three days after that, the MEC voted 8-6 to request a release. The NMB cancelled all further sessions and declined to release us. We are waiting for the NMB to resume mediated negotiations.

Seems like you aren't reading the messages or the contract comparison that was produced by this MEC.

Or, they can't unless the NMB allows it. Ask your rep. Hopefully we will be allowed to start negotiations again in September.

It’s called leverage JustIn. These things take time. We have them right where we want them.
