It was actually late December and that “agreement” was sprung on a few of them. Did you forget the majority tried to get rid of PM in November? Unfortunately the pro TA1 reps refusing to represent the will of the majority also refused to show up for the meeting and a quarum could not be met.

So the question is, at what point, time or event, is THIS MEC/NC responsbile for not getting us a TA to vote on?
1 year from now will it still be PM/old guard/silent majority's fault?
2 years?
3 years from now, will we still be saying, "dang PM, its his fault that we don't have a TA!"

I hold the NC/MEC accountable for everything that happens from March 2024 going forward (request for arbitration and beyond). It is the date where I believe they had enough majority to institute the changes and shift course. I will evaluate that course as it unfolds. If I could give PM the opportunity and time to work on it, I am surely going to give the new NC a shot.

The will of the majority? 8 of those reps are still on the MEC. Funny, but 8 out of 14 reps is 57%, the same percentage that the TA failed by. What it seems like is that a smaller group of the majority didn't want to hear any other opinions, so they continued with recalls until they got their way. Well, they have no excuses now. I hope they deliver.

So pray we all. But the willingness of those displaced by the process to still attempt to gum up the works publicly is troubling.
To be charitable, TA1.0 was a poorly timed, half baked, ill conceived mess, starting with retirement and scope alone. Its primary virtue, as PM described multiple times, was to be just good enough to a critical mass of burned out senior guys to incentivize them to retire. It made lots of unsupported assumptions, which in retrospect are roads we likely all are happy were not traveled down.

Thanks to the TC 8 and their stunt to ask to be released, we are on hold until at least the 21st of Aug. We will plead our case that we are ready to resume and see what happens. I will be surprised if we meet in Sept.

Maybe the silent minority & PM/NC should have resigned realizing that their views could not be jammed through the seniority list.

If the offer was soooooooo great why didn't the company offer to meet and show their incredible good will by now? Oh wait, because it was another turd. No reason to delay the inevitable when all we accomplished was.....wait for it......medical freedom language. You act like we were getting somewhere.
