Yeah, so much for the union messages that said not to expect to be on ice and that negotiations could start back quickly. I guess their plan was to take about 4 months to put a plan together, and then hope that the NMB would jump through hoops to get us back to the table. My guess is that TC is now starting to sweat a bit about getting the retirement bump he wants before he is out the door.

How are all the TC8 supporters feeling now? We will be lucky to have anything by the spring at this rate. Guess their tough guy move with the NMB is blowing back in our faces. Maybe should have looked at the company offer? The big protest on Wall Street really showed the company and investors who's in charge. Raj, JD and company negotiators are pouring more whiskey and are on their second box of Cuban cigars.

What did you expect when the old MEC refused to step aside and forced us through onorous recalls? What did you expect when parlimentary procedure was weaponized to keep a NC Chairman in place that no longer had the confidence of the pilot group? Do you not think any of that would delay us? I am guessing you were hoping for TA 1.1 which never stood a chance. The real blame for delay was the failure of the minority to accept reality and move forward.
TA1.0 was a dead man walking at the first road show, it aged like milk with every other TA approved (American and Southwest) and every giveback in it was for 30k/year for guys about to walk off the property, who've enjoyed a total growth career. I mean, from a political stance, how do get 50% plus 1 to vote to slit their own throats in 24 months, let alone in 5 years, to a minor benefit for less than 1/5th of the pilot group?

It wasn't voting down TA1, never should have made it to the membership. It was all the high school bs afterwards. Social media crybabies. Vote it down and move on. Instead the JF and TC followers had to bring down the house and where did it get us? Same place as a year ago. That's ok I am sure they will get us a huge retro check.

Nailed it………..and to be sure……..the retro and new pay rates will not make up for the lost earnings. This is how the Company gets to cost neutral. Again.

The unseen company offer was probably amazing, industry leading and more than we were expecting. They’ve been so generous otherwise.
And really don’t care how many cigars the higher up’s have. I care about an industry leading contract.
