As long as we’re discussing futures, how’s the DEI culture at UAL working out so far?
United Airlines reports $124 million loss in a quarter marred by grounding of some Boeing planes

Our contract, my paycheck, profit sharing, earnings and seniority progression all say…. “Pretty f’ing well.” You think I’m offended by those pics? The dude prints money, crushed it during Covid, and came out of the gates swinging. He can ride a unicorn to work that farts glitter for all I care, as long as he keeps winning we’ll keep smiling. If Boeing could actually deliver airplanes it would be even better.
How’s things with you? You guys still trying to pay new hires to go to the regionals, furloughing and trying to pull the ladder up on the bottom 49%?

(Facepalm, clearly went right over your head)

But after 22 years working here, I've never regretted the decision. During that time, my buddies at United have gone through a complete bankruptcy where many lost almost all their pension. Most have been furloughed at least once. For years. And if it weren't for billions of dollars of taxpayer money to keep United afloat during COVID, they probably would have been furloughed again. I guess that's a win for Kirby. (And as a taxpayer, you're welcome by the way) Now maybe he should roll some dollars into your training department to get the FAA off your backs. Priorities I guess.
Anyway, glad our bare assed pilot has provided some entertainment. Things must be slow in the United forum. I wouldn't know. I've never bothered to go there.

But are you still working at FedEx? If you've left and worked for Fred shorter than I will, I'll buy your dinner.

A bit of rough patch no doubt. We'll know more by September. We may well furlough a couple hundred pilots for the first time in FedEx history. Time will tell.
