don’t be salty that FedEx wont be hiring for the foreseeable future. United will hire thousands before we hire 1.

Why do people keep saying we aren't hiring? Literally ran into some Purple Runway new hires a month ago. It's not many, maybe 3-5 at a time, but we still are hiring per the Purple Runway program.

That’s hiring to fly a caravan. You can’t be serious right now.

I am serious which is why I'm asking. The most recent new hires on our seniority list were hired from Purple Runway. They're on the line already. Further, saw more Purple Runway guys interviewing during recurrent a couple months ago. I was told it's part of their commitment that they get an interview. Now what remains unknown is are these successful candidates put in the pool with CJOs?

There will not be additions to our MSL for months if not years.

It seems like they're continuing to hire from the feeders a bit. If they stop the flow through all together they won't be able to staff the feeder.

They sent out a message about this a while back. They said they would continue to bring the purple runway pilots over even if they’re not hiring off the street.

I haven't seen any new hire slots allocated on the Training Letters, pretty sure the 2 that came over last year are the only ones so far.
