Hmm. Another FCIF about bribes/kickbacks etc...wonder what that's all about?
I was curious and looked up how much you have to steal in order to be charged with a felony, in the state of TN. It's only a thousand bucks. Wow! It turns out that just a few ill gotten or unnessary, DDH, $8,000.00 bank, maybe DRF trips, could really get your tit in a ringer. Probably both of them. Who woulda thunk.

Popcorn is in hand and ready to watch and hope that this time the Company actually does something rather than send out more FCIFs.

Well I think you are on to something, heard from a guy on the 777 that they nailed PH (one of the most junior 77C, yet only flys the best trips) last week. Could not happen to a better buddy F-er. Him and his little gang of thieves may have finally done messed up or maybe someone in their little "investment" group had enough. Either way, I hope this is the end of the pack as we know it. It appears they have been using FedEx and their fellow pilots as personal tools and ATM's long enough to finally wake someone up.

Don't you mean sticky fingers ? From all those ill gotten gains? But if these special boyz are only quicker to the draw on trip trades then nothing to worry bout.
However, if even part of the stories passed around the cockpit for years are true, then it was only a matter of time before someone slips up and takes you/them all down. Cannot be a coincidence that Cartier, Fleming and their BFF Harden are all now apparently on the sidelines where their fastest fingers can't beat the rest of the team nor payoff anyone at this time.
Your AVA/VLT/PNP Trip trades are all denied - due to insufficient NOQ coverage.
Sorry...not sorry.

I didn't say it us underfunded. I said this story claims it has a shortfall to pay future liabilities. It only has 95% of the money it needs to pay all its bills. The law sets what is considered fully funded. My comment was that the company was making voluntary contributions when times were good, all the while looking at the large crop of new hires, knowing that their pension obligations would increase. I don't know if they hadn't made the 700 million in contributions but added 1500 pilots to the pension would it still be "fully funded".
