Yes I did. Are you saying you weren't referring to the strike vote when you said "It's usefulness ended the minute the TA was made public"?

You said the strike vote was just symbolic:

He did not violate the policy you quoted. Do you have a different policy in mind that he might have violated?

He posted the membership list of the public whatsapp group which requires full name to join. That's public info. The group is open for anyone to join. If you put yourself in the public sphere of social media using your full name and phone number, you're not entitled to the privacy policy that you quoted above, and it would be naïve to be upset when you're mentioned by name as being a member of a public group or held accountable for saying something in that group that you might later regret.

If they are trying to bust him on that, they're exposing themselves to some serious liability.
If what he did was so great and legal, why did he take it down so fast? Why not leave it up for everyone to see?

Probably on the advice of his lawyer after he was placed in NOQ status.

This used to be called "hostage taking", and the union leadership used to inform the crew force of the situation and state that no TA would be approved until the hostages were released.

Of course, we hear crickets from the current leadership. I wonder way?

This should read "I wonder why?" Damn autocorrect.

He was likely asked to do so by union leadership and complied. Doesn't make it illegal.

If what he did was against company policy, he would have been NOQed immediately instead of several weeks later. They likely had to wait until they could trip him up on some other technicality.

Nearly everyone saw it, and it's still floating around for those that didn't.

And I'd love to see the 36 page pdf posted by the block rep 5. Anyone have a copy?
Just about anyone at DAL or UAL would have a copy. That’s where I saw it in the first place, word traveled hella fast.

Lots of hostages at the moment. With at least one essentially forced to resign.

Shameful.

The SM plays dirty. Y'all be careful out there.

Forced to resign? Why?

Who was forced to resign? Block 5? If so, the SM is really playing dirty and they all need to be recalled.

Block 5 hasn’t been forced to resign. Not sure who has, if anybody. Maybe it’s just a rumor as part of a scare tactic.
