That's a load of crap right there pal. I didn't have a left seat bid in and I definitely got screwed. Go ahead and tell anyone who got excessed from a right seat to the panel, or from an international wide body right seat to a domestic narrow body right seat that they didn't get screwed. That is one of the most tone deaf posts I've seen from you yet. Just go away already.

”you’re not getting screwed, you’re just working more for the same (or less), no big deal”

The hell there wasn't. The company instituted a bogus "excess" bid immediately after age 65 where they delcared every seat in the system in excess by one. Its sole purpose was to get all the 60-64 folks plumbing the 727 and DC-10 back to the left seat. Pretty much everyone junior to them got slid down. I'm starting to wonder if you were actually here at the time.

unfortunately I still work here and I am invested until the day that I don’t. Partly a bit of doubt on my part on how I could have been so wrong about the decision to come here I’m grasping on to whatever sliver of light in a dark dark room I can find. It infuriates me to read posts like Stan and others that think everything’s good here. I want the word out and will not just sit idly by and let prospective pilots think this is a quality place to work if they ever hire again. There are 2000 pilots at FedEx right now that wouldn’t even have FedEx on their list of places to apply if we knew then what we know now.

Anger isssues? 2,000 pilots who wouldn't have FX on their list, try 2008 when the airlines furloughed, I doubt the legacies were on anyone's list then. You are either ignorant or just cluelesss as to the airline industry. Yep, get the word out please and take your anger isssues out of the FX world.

Whats that, that the negotiating process works and the majority got their voices heard? 2,000 pilots who wouldn't have FX on their list, try 2008 when the airlines furloughed, I doubt the legacies were on anyone's list then. That is total BS they packed "over manned" the engineer seats with over 60 guys and cancelled a awarded bid when the age change happened. Then they had a system bid to let the over 60 guys come back to the seats they could hold pushing everyone down and yes Captains lost their seats as did others.
