He/she totally missed that the first thing I said to consider is happiness. I’ll ask you the same thing, what is keeping you at Fedex if you are a Fedex pilot?

Getting up at 4am is significantly different than getting up to fly through the AM sort. Even though it’s “only” a few hours.

Why aren’t your buddies in management offering LOAs?

[QUOTE=P8Bubba;3722054]Typical post by Stan.

I had the luxury of getting hired into ANC11 and doing long haul, long layovers, and not exclusively night flying

Typical post by someone who made a terrible career move and now has to post on FX forum to justify their choice. Funny how guys can't move on.

Typical post by someone with such a fragile ego that they resort to personal attacks any time someone points out that their job at FedEx isn’t the envy of the industry.

Also, you know good and well that flying the night sort through MEM is WAYYYY different than having one or two early wake-ups and flying a day schedule. Unless of course FedEx is the only civilian job you have ever had…

Correct. One of the many reasons that purple should pay a premium. The domestic AM sort has some “easy” flying but the vast majority is some of the hardest flying in the 121 industry.

I think the rest of our negotiations should take place from 2230 to 0700. Everyone involved should feel the pain.

Move on? A guy asked a question and having been in a similar position I offered my opinion. I hope for my buddies that are still at FedEx that you aren't as miserable to fly with as you are on APC...
