I knew more than a few at DAL who were using us as a place holder until a FedEx class date in years past. As previously said, it’s all about timing and luck. Good luck over there.

Same position
Im in the same position, im almost 6 years in at fedex in the right seat and not sure if i should jump ship either. I have agreat quality of life now and have flown days for almost 5 years, but i feel that its about to all go away and if that level of senority gets me night hub turns for the forceable future im not to thrilled about that. I feel the best thing i can do is send my apps out and see what i get. Very strssful.

I guess times have really changed. THERE AIN'T NOBODY TRYING TO GET TO THIS PLACE FROM DELTA, AA, UAL, SWA. When/if we start hiring again, we will be hit up by MIL, regional, LCC, and GENAV guys predominantly. This place is just substandard based solely on T&C. If you throw in quality of life issues it is even more of a dumpster fire. We have virtually no day flying unless you can hold 777. Imagine working here 20 years and still working nights. I guess there a few retards out there that will sign up for that at the majors but my guess is they will be few and far between (maybe they live in ANC, MEM, IND).
