Any reason to stay at FedEx 40s or younger?

And, right now, this weekend was the busiest travel day in aviation history. We are past "pent up demand" phase and entering a new normal.

Yeah, the new MEC is going to fix crime in MEM, take over the board to get rid of DRIVE, buy new airplanes and start hiring. I guess I missed those items in the updates that say industry comparable pay, scope, retirement and targeted QOL improvements. Of those items, the only changes are scope, and industry comparable pay instead of industry leading pay.
The former MEC did massive damage to the Fedex pilot group, that no one on the property will likely ever see recovered.
And the best argument that things are fine is that our attrition isn't exactly what some third tier regional airlines would be to what once were inferior employers. Well, if that is a PD level argument, I don't know what is.
The narrative daylight between PM and PD for the time prior to TA1 could be measured in micrometers, and their poorly crafted information operations campaign failed under its own weight. How, the damage is done. The Fedex brand among pilots has been ruthlessly exposed for what it is, and hopefully a good contract and some changes in management might go some way to rebuilding it.
In the meantime, the former MEC and Fedex pilot management can point to a legacy of ashes.

So who else is actively pursuing the equities of the pilot group? It wasn't PM and the former MEC, who were happy to trade away the family cow for magic beans. Indeed, who squandered a incalcuable amount of time, and then had the temerity to trot out the time value of money argument. At least at that point I knew they were likely stupid, and not craven.

That won't be a problem once we're acquired by Atlas and Memphis simply becomes one of the "gateway" cities to our home bases.

Perhaps, but its not like Fedex wasn't making record profits during that time, either. Again, the differences in management focus are stark.

This is reminiscent when people thought the sky was falling at FedEx at a quarterly report a couple of years ago when earnings missed Wall Street expectations despite making a hefty profit.

Delta’s Q2 missed EPS by 1 penny. Still made over $2B in profit for the quarter. Paid off $1.4B in debt in Q2. Added over half a billion to the 2024 profit sharing pool. And was profitable even if AMEX money didn’t exist ($1.3B from my understanding).
