Throw in the fact they have PBS which is way worse for bidding vacation and days off. We have 30hr two leg trips too, also 19 hr 2 day trips. Guess you did not look at the bid pack. We have the option of departing once during the month and doing a single departure, they do not. I hate going to work more than once a month. They go at least three times a month to work.

Multiple base options, you want FEDEX to open domicles and change the system form for your needs. Fedex has two banks of flights a day domestic and one international. They have up to six banks of flights through their hubs which allows for more choices of start times and finish times.

Unless you are under 30 our B fund and an improved A plan are much better than a straight 18%. Will see how long their profit sharing lasts.

Have you been to ATL, JFK, SFO? You can get killed in any of those cities too, no different than memphis.

Mean while it seems like you are a sore loser because you made the wrong choice to work here because a lot of things you are crying about are not going to change. A lot of it sounds like penis envy.

Next time do more home work about domicles, system form and retirement options for the company you are interveiwing with.

Purple ponies and rainbows for you.
Everything is grand at FedEx they purple-colored glasses. You sound like you’re on the 777. Enjoy that.

“get senior and on the 777 and all your worries will go away…” blah blah blah.

Yea, my last comment got deleted, but I’d still say it again.

Do you work at Fedex? Look at your union pocket calendar for the information. Maybe I am missing your sarcasm but as clueless as some of our pilots are to our contract maybe you are serious!

Never said everything was grand here. A lot can be improved hence we need a new contract but some of the complaints are just plain complaining.

No my veins pulse with reality, yours pulse with JF ignorance. Will see how this ages. How many domicles or extra sorts you force the company to open or do because it fits your life style or thats how the pax carriers do it.

We don’t force the company to anything. Memphis crime statistics can do that, themselves. RE: RS SCP update.

Oh yes yes, “but the system form,” We know all about it. Yawn.

Dont disagree that the 777 has a pretty good QOL, but what about everyone else?
-Night hub turns in the 75 and Airbus are getting increasingly more legs.
-Single line departures? What’s that? I’ve had to commute 4+ times in a month due to nothing else to trade into. How is losing the postal contract in October going to affect commuting? We have no idea.
-19hr 2 day trips? We have 6.5hr 2 day trips in my fleet as well as 5 leg 2 day trips that pay less than 9hrs.
-Hotels - I stayed at nicer hotels at a LCC. At least the courtyard Marriott in Casper has a Dennys connected to the lobby!

But, we have good vacation and no PBS (except for SLG, which is a horrible version of PBS) so guess that’s good enough!

The legacies get premium pay (150% or 200%) for *any alteration* to their schedule, whatsoever. If there's a revision, there's big bucks. That doesnt include the extra premium if the revision gets you in late. And *any* unagumented duty period over 10 hours, revision or not, gets paid minute for minute beyond the ten hours, on top of all other pay. How does that compare to FedEx extension/extra duty pay?

Dont forget that FedEx will let you go home from a trip when you have a family emergency, you know, instead of flying a $300 million airplane completely distracted and distraught. What an amazingly kind gesture from the company and completely unique in our industry. I recommend everyone apply here when we begin hiring again in 2033.
