If you know what they meant and it isn't rampant by any means it's no biggie. The sun or no sun on your phone is a thing plus the auto correct is quite the B. Getting old with issues blows too as we knew already and all have witnessed now. Going back down to the fish bar now...

Do any majors fly 6 leg days? Even southwest who flies the most, I think, caps out at 5 in the worst cases. Otherwise 4 is the highest I’d heard of.

No. But the old guard is convinced the entire domestic pax flying system is 6-leg days, so it must be!
Meanwhile the un-paid 3-5 hour sits waiting on the sort turns into sub and all the open time has been thrown onto R24. LOL

Complain about flying at night, complain about day flying. Did you even do two minutes of research on Fedex ops or did you just listen to how much the Covid pay checks were?

Bid R24 so you can get assigend those trips or hotel stby and be on the clock all week.

You sure are a miserable person, I am sure the grass is greener at other carriers. Read some of their post, same old crap to complain about.

Our grass is brown. Needs watered. Like yesterday.

Meanwhile the pax carriers have profit sharing, 18 hour long call, hotels for recurrent, add pay for long sits, for extended duty days. They’ve codified two pilot flight decks. They improved hotel language. They have 18 % DC. They’ve increased vacation credit. They have multiple base options, none of which require the system chief pilot to tell us to “watch our 6” doing to or from our place of employment. They have 30hr 2 legs intl trips that allow one to have off 20 days a month. They have 4 leg 4 day domestic trips to allow you to sleep normally every single night.

That grass looks freshly cut, fertilized and thriving.

Meanwhile, we have a bunch of sore losers foaming at the mouth about a pension. Night hub turns. 12 hr 3 day trips. A shrinking bid pack. People still waiting to train from 21-01. Commuter cars and crashpads for recurrent in a city that is actively trying to kill us more than our jobs are.

Brown grass. Purple koolaide.

Hotels for recurrent, cost $300 a year for a hotel, do not need a crash pad or car. We get paid for extra duty or extensions too. They needed better hotel language because they stayed in crap hotels. Our international hotels are still much nicer. They were way behind on vacation credit. I think they still only get 5:30 a day. We get 6 hrs plus more days. Throw in the fact they have PBS which is way worse for bidding vacation and days off. We have 30hr two leg trips too, also 19 hr 2 day trips. Guess you did not look at the bid pack. We have the option of departing once during the month and doing a single departure, they do not. I hate going to work more than once a month. They go at least three times a month to work.

Multiple base options, you want FEDEX to open domicles and change the system form for your needs. Fedex has two banks of flights a day domestic and one international. They have up to six banks of flights through their hubs which allows for more choices of start times and finish times.



Unless you are under 30 our B fund and an improved A plan are much better than a straight 18%. Will see how long their profit sharing lasts.

Have you been to ATL, JFK, SFO? You can get killed in any of those cities too, no different than memphis.

Mean while it seems like you are a sore loser because you made the wrong choice to work here because a lot of things you are crying about are not going to change. A lot of it sounds like penis envy.

Next time do more home work about domicles, system form and retirement options for the company you are interveiwing with.
