Isn't that right around when the negotiating committee and the company agreed upon Section One?

I would say that now furlough of the pilots is "even a thing".
That was during an unstable time for the company when they were trying to figure out how to transition out of COVID. The stability of the company is very solid right now despite soft volume. If he said no furloughs during the most questionable times, it would look really bad to furlough with solid profits coming in.

But I get it. Who hasn’t heard of a CEO without a conscience.

They need to be called out on that slide! Uh, what’s the source of that information? Who can vouch that those numbers are correct? Where did those numbers come from? Please cite reference/name/documentation of those numbers.

Scare tactic and the NC as well as the MEC should be ashamed of that.

And it's no longer a questionable time. They're in a downturn, cutting costs however they can, and they're on their second round of employee furloughs, which they didn't mention in that earnings call. In fact, the only airplanes they mentioned grounding were "the equivalent of about eight narrow-bodies is what we will be idling temporarily".

How things have changed for the worse. The huge cost cutting that is supposed to come from reducing air operations will obviously affect pilots. Pilots always think they're special. They're not. Just another cost of doing business.

Agree.

Not sure what is worse Stan's attitude of I got mine and can leave at anytime OR a-lot of new-hire FOs on property whose attitude is, FedEx pilots are over-paid and had it good during Covid. Thank God these new-hires cannot vote.

Why does the union post a forecast and it's fear mongering but when term papers on JF posting scope doom porn it's scene as superior knowledge of the TA?

Yea that is something I never understood. Too many “smartest guys in the room” posting term papers, but that’s just info and not a sell job for some reason. Along with posting a picture of your ballot.

Apples and oranges, JF are opinions, like APC, and should be treated as such….who says it superior just because it’s on JF? Now whether they produce fear mongoring or not, well that’s up to the interpretation of the reader. Vice the data shown in an official FDX MEC/NC briefing to its members should be verifiable and source cited. And I feel is meant to scare us to vote a certain way. That’s my point.

And hey NC, if you’re reading, THAT’S unconscionable! If you’re one of the 13 who sent this TA, please pass that message to him for me please.

Because "we have a fiduciary responsibility the company came to everything cent it could to the table" and so on per our NC. I guess if the JF post on 1.5 million in stock options is true for a certain senior management pilot....who else got a cut if this is true or any semblance of the truth.

you have been hanging out with the wrong new hires! On the flip, I have only met new hires just off probation and can vote have been a solid NO. They see those efficiencies as direct threat to QOL and future compensation.

On that note, thank you NO voters. It is evident that the MEC/NC hears us now.

Keep the NO pressure up, NO to depress industry wages, NO to Union busting pension schemes, NO to efficiencies that degrade qol and lower compensation and NO to the 300 retirees they threw out into the cold with no improvement to their A plan.

More that a decade to go, but whether you have 1 or 30 go it should clear….

NO is the time!

This TA is NOT in the best interest of new hires. 600-800 old pilots ARE NOT going to retire if this TA passes. FedEx will not let that happen.
shack, don’t take the bait folks.

Vote NO and send this concessionary bankruptcy styled TA back!

What time is it! NO is the time!
