Unless if AAL wants you to class up next week then wait to see what happens with the TA.
Assuming both AAL'S AIP and our TA are similar and as previously mentioned, if you have a family or plan on starting one then I would absolutely live in domicile. Not only is your QOL gain going to be huge but your kids and wife will appreciate it much more.

Thank you
Thank you all for the excellent advice and positivity. Flying for FedEx has been amazing. Quite literally the only thing I dislike about the company is the domiciles (and there's not much the company can do to fix that). I have been leaning towards going to AA and getting back to DFW, so it's been great to hear from you all about living in domicile and improving my QOL.
Thanks again and good luck to all of you and your careers!

I've been flying as a wide body FO at FedEx for a year and a half. I stopped pursuing AA, but they recently reached out, so I went to the interview and got a CJO.
I am a commuter who will never live in a Fedex hub. But I have family in Dallas and I could move there and be in domicile.
Thus far, I've really enjoyed my time at FedEx, and I have a little background flying for Envoy, so I have an idea what flying passengers is like.
Should I be a lifelong FedEx commuter or go to AA and live in domicile?
Thanks!

That said living in base, in my opinion, more than makes up for difference in pay. If you’re willing to move to dfw I’d go to aa asap so you can still be on the front end of the hiring wave.

You’ll obviously be a widebody capt sooner and for much longer and make way more money over a career at FedEx.

I’d love to see the math on that. I know that’s the internet consensus, I don’t think it’s anywhere near reality.

it’s pretty simple math. You’ll be on widebody capt pay like a decade sooner at FedEx than you would be at AA. How is it that hard to understand?
