Where’s the promised wet lease payment
Just checked ADP after seeing a lower than expected deposit in my bank account and the promised wet lease payment was not there. I guess the RecruitBns on the statement is suppose to be the full wet lease payment. Looks like mine was only 13% of the promised amount rounded up of course. Is that the case for anyone else? What’s up with that?

from the 13 Dec 2022 Positive rate.
At the 4th Quarter 2022 Regular MEC Meeting, your FDX MEC passed Resolution 22-34. The wet lease penalty payments cover the bid periods from October 2020 thru December 2021. Pilots eligible for the entire period will receive approximately $4,334.17 before taxes, pending verification of the company supplied data. To review the eligibility criteria, please review the resolution through the above link.
$4334.17 before taxes. My “bonus” is $544. I’m taxed way too much, but I don’t think I’m taxed 87%.

Looking at other statements, the amount shown under "This Statement" is the amount of pay BEFORE taxes.
So, if they were taking out the taxes, that number should have been the $4000 number, not the $544 number.
Something is not right.

The last wet lease payment was received on the September 15, 2021 paycheck, and was for the exact same amount paid for this wet lease payment. Several things may have occurred: First, the company screwed up. Second, the Union misled us on the amount of payment either intentionally or just didn't understand the requirements. Or third, the union pocketed the difference, which I believe they get to decide how much to distribute to us and how much they keep.

My Jan 31 paycheck says "RecruitBns".
Perhaps you can explain what this is, if it is not the wet lease payment?
I know it is not a "signing bonus", that's for sure.

FedEx intentionally sent the same payment as last time in an attempt to get us all fired up at ALPA for telling us it would be more?
