15 year DL 767 will make $350 and 767-400/A330 and A350 over $400 (small % of pilots on this category)

15 year WB Fedex Captain makes $335/hr, not to mention 75 pay

So it is conceivable a DL 2nd year Captain can make more than a 15 yr Fedex WB Captain with creative scheduling manipulation and/or picking up open time, whereas if I understand correctly most Fedex bid packs will be at BLG.

Not factoring in pension, FYI, although at 17% DC and future 18% compared to 9% Fedex + pension it gets a bit closer.
Entirely reasonable. And you don’t even need to get to the new Delta AIP rates to get ahead of FDX. I’m a 5/6 YR WB CA. I’m currently being out-earned by 8 year NB CAs (320 Delta) and FOs (75/76 United) according to the salary survey (post 296 and 298). I fly my line and don’t work extra. But I’m roughly at the rate X 1000 rule of thumb. Whereas they are about 10% ahead. For the flying we do, I expect a premium. Especially the last two years.

You mean that management won’t even offer UPS rates, right?

Pat D supposedly told a buddy of mine that we can either have UPS rates and no change in pension or change the pension and be paid less than UPS.

They can afford to do A LOT better but they don’t value us. When given the chance I’ll be voting accordingly.

A JetBlue A320 Captain will be paid more than a FedEx 777 Captain, and they’ll even get a redeye override. My expectations increase each day we go without an industry leading contract. FUPM! NO CONCESSIONS!

Pinseeker, just curious….were you an F15 guy? It’s OK to be wrong and not the best! Because our contract is definitely not the best. Our union has been lacking for many years and the TA will probably prove me correct. I wish you knew what you don’t know but it’s becoming clear you are incapable of learning from others experiences.

The point is, other than UPS's extension contract, there hasn't been a TA accepted that surpasses our rates that didn't exist in 2020, 2021, or 2022. I said months ago that we shouldn't be looking at UPS rates, they were way too low. Others on here said they were industry leading. So, what changed? Delta has an AIP. JetBlue has a new TA, not sure if it was improved, but their rates in that TA were still below our WB rates at the end of the TA. So all this talk about guys posting their pay on the salary thread makes no difference. No one talks about how much of their pay was premium pay on that thread. Even most the guys from us that posted there say they were saying they averaged over 1100 hours of BLG without flying any extra and not selling back any vacation. They must be getting carryover every month and not conflicting any of it. Why not compare some of our guys who posted their 2021 pay? I'll tell you why, because it doesn't matter. Those numbers aren't the norm. So if you think my head is buried deep in the sand, it's because you need to remove yours from your ***. I've been saying the low bar is UA 2019 rates adjusted for inflation for months before the Delta AIP.

Same here. How do you feel now that the Delta AIP will be paying their WB captains over $50/hour more than you? Nice job UPS. Such a strong group there. Glad you like to tell us how to get things done here.

Dude, it’s 1 guy posting….

To the rest of your post, we did a short contract extension -> didn’t negotiate a new contract. You might want to wait until we have a new one before criticizing our pay rates. Background: UPS gave notice that there would be no meaningful negotiations until well after the teamsters strike and subsequent contracted is signed and ink dried. We could have endured that multi year delay with nothing or a few dollars thrown at us. We chose the latter. Nothing else we could do. Sounds like you guys are starting to get a taste of that. Good luck…

The more tardy the company is with offering us a TA the more prompt my no vote will be. Simple as that
