It wasn’t ALPA who carved out cargo from 117. We only need to look at our own company for that. But if you think ALPA hasn’t ever mitigated the worst things from politicians, then there is no point in us discussing any of this. This is exactly what management types say all the time though. I’m not saying you are but it’s the same marginalizing tactic they welcome. We are our own worst enemy, even if you are correct. Would you ever marginalize your divorce attorney in court? Your spouse’s lawyer would be sitting there in silence with a smile while you continue.

I see you're a member of the Workmo tribe. Pretty high contingent here at FDX. I align more with the Justsendacheck peoples of the lower W-2s. I certainly ain't gonna be the one to stand between a man and his blue lines. No sir. Get the bag lol.

Just having a little fun here guys. We're all on the same team.

Even the UPS guys.

I didn't say ALPA carved out cargo. I said ALPA caved on it. They cave on everything. I'm pro union but ALPA aint it fam. SWAPA and IPA do just as well, if not better without being a part of this costly and feckless association of unions.

No worries about other airlines just UPS Pilots.

Two contract extensions since 2020 because the teamster contact is more important. UPS pilots say that the Fedex contract has the biggest effect on theirs. Now you say that the good thing is the IPS because you don't have to worry about anything else but UPS pilots? So your 4 year contract in 2016 will only have extensions until 2026 at the earliest in the most likely scenario. Better hope the teamsters don't take all of the money and leave nothing for you.

True, if you completely overlook that SWAPA, APA, and IPA also, ‘exert influence,’ in Washington often in concert with ALPA efforts either directly or through CAPA. I don’t think anyone is taking a free lunch from ALPA.

Hey man, you don’t have much understanding of the dynamics of what’s happened nor what’s going on at Brown in terms of the extensions or negotiations. Go to our threads if you want to debate, or learn in your case. OTW, our top rate pay is $376 this year, what’s yours again? Something like 11% less? Criticize us all you want but we aren’t exactly lowering the bar for you. We also made further improvements in our A-plan which only helps you guys. We ain’t your enemy pal.

Hey man, are you saying that you haven't approved two extensions to your 2016 contract? Your rate of $376 doesn't happen until September of this year, 3/4 of the way through. As far as lowering the bar goes, if you adjusted your Sept 2020 rate for inflation, your top rate should be $385 right now, not $361.

So I don't understand your dynamics, but UPS pilots understand ours, gotcha !

APA isn’t doing any better and IMO probably worse.
