I was also invited to interview without having an endorsement this year. In my experience, the aviation conferences are a great way to network and get you some 1v1 time with FedEx leadership. They are not allowed to keep resumes but can write notes and keep your information card that is provided before hitting up their booth. Very laid back but, in my opinion, they are likely making some judgment calls on whether you would be a good fit for the company. I know several people that were invited a short time after attending these conferences. Just a few data points to consider. Good luck!

I’m currently an FO at NetJets, IND based, and interested in FedEx for the IND base. What’s the time frame like to get IND and what kind of schedules are there for that base? I flew at Envoy for a year, so that’s the only 121 time I have. I left because I was on reserve for a year (CRJ was retiring) and rarely flew.

Helos, T-6 Instructor, Regional FO got me the mins. They count T-6 as FWPIC. I had ~1400 FW hours (+ mil sortie conversion) and ~450 MEFW.

I would say if you have a high last four of your SSN, you have a good chance of getting MEM 767 and you can base transfer once a new bid opens up. Honestly though, pretty much the whole fleet operates through IND in some fashion or another. Whether they layover there or have front end or back end DHs to start or finish trips through IND, there are many options. The commute between IND and MEM shouldn't be too terrible I would think on company metal.
As far as the flying goes, it seems pretty varied. You have your mix of domestic day flying and night hub turns. Some Europe and South America flying in the bid pack as well.....
Last piece of advice....if you are even interested in FedEx, I would have your app in yesterday!

Current junior activated Indy FO looks to be about 300 seniority numbers away from newest new hire.

I wish Apple/Google/Microsoft/JPMorgan wouldn't require their CEO's to have prior experience either.
