Good luck to that dude…I’d rather have the guys here that want to be here. Not just chasing a job that **might** not require the vaccine someday so they can just get put on the sidelines anyway.

that’s a bold strategy, cotton. I’m not saying I think FedEx will require it. But, to leave your seniority solely because you don’t want the vaccine just to go to FedEx that may possibly require it in the future….seems like that would be a double kick to the shorts.

FEDEX Hiring 2021
The term "hybrid" line doesn't appear anywhere in the CBA or SLG information. That's just something you made up. I think most pilots would understand the reference, but you're making it sound like it's an official term. Same thing with the inference that Secondary lines have sub-sets of regular and reserve lines. A secondary line is a secondary line - period. Some are made exclusively of trips. That doesn't make them a "regular line". Some are made exclusively of reserve blocks. That doesn't make them a reserve line.
It wasn’t my attempt to make things sound official. I was just trying to use terms for someone who doesn’t work here to understand a little better how our line bidding systems work. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Hello everyone. New to the forum and looking for some information about Fedex. A friend of mine told me that Fedex only hires US passport holders due to governmental contract restrictions, which I could not verify as true so far. Does the company also hire non US nationals that have a green card? On their website is says that in order to be considered for a pilot position the applicant must have the right to reside in the USA, and in that case a green card would suffice....maybe my friend was referring to a non written criteria? Appreciate any inputs, thanks!

Circadiam Rhythm/QOL
I realize variations of this question have been asked, but looking for some fresh answers. Do you feel like you are able to adequately manage your circadian rhythm as a FedEx Pilot? Meaning, do you consistently stay on a single time zone sleep schedule (for the most part), regardless of where you are in the world or are you consistently changing your sleep cycle from month to month? I've spoken with a few folks about this and there seems to be a variation of answers and approaches. Do you feel like your sleep cycle and overall health are a major factor (negatively impacted) working for FedEx and the pay and QOL offset that issue or is it a manageable issue that you feel is overblown by outside chatter? Thanks for your insights.

Q2: Does FedEx provide work visa sponsorships for pilot applicants?
A2: No, all non-U.S. citizens must possess a Permanent Resident Card for employment with FedEx.
