Question about the invite. If I’m lucky enough to receive the invite to the actual application, what’s the difference? Is there any information on the Pilot Profile, that is or is not on the invite application?

Just curious, if I need to start gathering other information if that time comes.

Cheers.

Quick question, what’s the difference between the Profile and Application? Like, does the application ask for additional information?

If I’m lucky enough to get the invite, I want to be prepared for any new/additional information.

Do you mind sharing your timeline from submitting your FedEx Profile to application invite to interview?

Thanks!

There may have been one or two additional questions, but it's very similar to your profile.

Sure, I submitted the profile sometime in April. Around end of June or early July a friend of mine submitted an internal endorsement for me. I got the email to interview on September 14th. Originally they gave me an intervyt date of October 26-27th but my wife was supposed to be having our baby that day so they allowed me to push it until November, so I interviewed November 3 - 4th. I felt like my timeline was pretty quickly I know some people have their apps in for years. I definitely consider myself fortunate to have gotten an interview so quick.

From what I recall, the application link they send you if you are selected brings you to what is essentially a copy of all your profile information and you just go back through and make sure everything is completed and correct before the final submission. I don’t think there was anything significantly different between the profile and application.

I’m curious, why are you wanting to leave UAL?

Would you have ask that same question last year around this time? It’s his/her decision no explanation needed.

Who is faulting him? Perhaps there are some Legacy pilots who have thought about this as well. In good times or in bad.

He already answered the question in another thread. Wants a job where getting a vaccine isn't mandatory and he thinks that FedEx will likely get an exemption or something.
