Any idea if Fedex puts more weight on overall Jet PIC vs Boeing time? I’m currently a 135 captain working toward my 1000 TPIC, but have an offer from an ACMI carrier. Would it be worth it to leave before getting a 1000 TPIC?

I am a few years removed from being hired, but I would get the 1,000 TPIC first. The ACMI will most likely still be there

I believe the hiring minimums have dropped to 500 TPIC, but 1000 and above is what’s competitive. Hit your 1000 TPIC then make the jump to the ACMI.

I had zero hours of Boeing time, all my TPIC time is in either Airbus or LearJet. I don't think they really care for manufacturer; although not a requirement but they did ask me about my heavy TPIC time.
If I were you I'd get that 1000 TPIC, and then make a decision.

Lots of us here with only ERJ and CRJ TPIC time and those definitely aren’t heavy metal.

Get the TPIC when you can.

No Boeing team here with a CJO. Only previous "heavy" metal is in Gulfstreams. Get the TPIC first. Try to take on an additional role such as check airman, safety/standards,etc. That seemed to outweigh everything else, the extra-curricular job titles.....

What Kenny Powers said is great advice. I was a corporate/ 135 guy as well. Nobody knows the true grading system of your app. It’s guarded like the recipe for Coke. They do give points for job titles. I assume you are at a smaller 135 operation. If so then be a safety officer, check airman, assistant chief pilot, etc.
