Certainly won’t get it with that defeatist mentality. Those of us with many years left need to make sure ALPA knows that this is as important to us as retirement is to those with few years remaining.

It is a big deal. If pre65 medical premiums keep going up at the same rate, it’ll cost over 50% of a maxed out pension monthly payment within 5 years. Enjoy working to 65.

It already is. High deductible plan for 2020 is $519 a month. Two individuals on the worst plan available is more than 1/12 of the annual pay of a maxed out retirement.
